Job Description
Crash Champions is a leading and rapidly expanding brand in the collision repair industry, recognized as the largest founder-led multi-shop operator (MSO) in the United States. Established in 1999 in Chicago by industry expert and 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Midwest award recipient Matt Ebert, Crash Champions has grown remarkably over the past 25 years. The company operates more than 650 advanced repair centers across 38 states, making it a dominant presence in the automotive collision repair sector. Alongside its widespread collision repair services, Crash Champions also manages the specialized Crash Champions LUXE | EV Certified brand, which focuses on luxury and highline electric vehicle (EV) repair, reflecting its commitment to innovation and adapting to evolving automotive technologies.
Crash Champions is a company built on the principle of "People First," which underscores its dedication to superior customer service and employee engagement. The company's culture encourages a community-oriented environment where customers and employees alike are treated with respect and professionalism. Their vision is not only to provide top-tier collision repair but also to champion the people they serve and employ, fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace. Headquartered at their extensive facilities located at 1052 NJ-10, postal code 07869, the company ensures all locations maintain high standards for both technical excellence and customer experience.
The position available is for a full-time Porter role, an essential support function within each Crash Champions location. The Porter contributes significantly to maintaining the cleanliness and overall operational flow of the facility. This role involves cleaning floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming, as well as attending to restrooms by cleaning and stocking supplies. Additionally, the Porter is responsible for cleaning windows, glass, and mirrors, and managing waste by gathering and emptying trash. Occasionally, the Porter may assist with customer routing, supporting front-of-house operations and enhancing the customer experience.
This role demands a dependable individual with a strong work ethic who can follow directions well and work harmoniously with the rest of the team. While prior experience in the automotive field is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow their career in the automotive service industry. Applicants must have a valid Driver's License and be capable of passing a thorough background check.
Crash Champions offers competitive compensation for this role, with an hourly wage ranging from $15.49 to $20.00, based on knowledge, skills, and relevant experience. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, group life insurance, disability insurance, a 401k retirement plan with employer matching, referral bonuses under their "Cash From Crash" program, and paid holidays. These benefits demonstrate Crash Champions' commitment to employee well-being and long-term success.
Joining Crash Champions means becoming part of a respected, dynamic organization that values its employees and strives to maintain its status as a premier provider of collision repair services nationwide. This role as a Porter offers a stable career path within a forward-thinking and people-centered company that truly champions its workforce.
