As a full-time Porter based in Florence, KY, you will join the Maintenance team at Novolex, a critical role dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the facility and grounds. This position is integral to supporting the company’s Safe Quality Food Standards by ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The Porter position requires a proactive and self-driven individual who is eager to learn and contribute to a team environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility and immediate surroundings by sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and performing yard work including snow removal and salting when necessary. The role also includes supporting various maintenance functions such as assisting with the baler and using a forklift to manage trash bins safely and efficiently. Adherence to safety protocols is paramount, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

The role offers consistent weekday shifts from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday, providing a steady schedule for work-life balance.
