Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a distinguished winery and restaurant that elegantly combines a Napa-style tasting room with a wine-inspired retail experience. Established in 2005, the company has grown to offer a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space providing modern yet casual dining. The restaurant's unique scratch-kitchen menu is specially crafted to complement their wide selection of award-winning wines, making every meal a perfect pairing. Cooper's Hawk also boasts one of the largest wine clubs in the world, extending exclusive membership benefits such as curated dining and travel experiences to its members. Recently, they have expanded their offerings with Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, introducing vibrant Roman flavors that further enrich their lifestyle brand. This combination of wine, food, and memorable experiences helps Cooper’s Hawk create a dynamic environment where guests can indulge in quality and hospitality.

The Porter role at Cooper's Hawk is pivotal in maintaining the polished and pristine environment that supports their commitment to Uncompromising Hospitality. Porters are responsible for keeping the restaurant shining, which includes maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in the dining areas, restrooms, and common spaces. Their attention to detail ensures that the establishment remains a welcoming space for both staff and guests. The role requires coming prepared each shift, following rigorous opening and closing checklists, and maintaining operational flow by supporting team communication and readiness. Additionally, Porters play an essential part in guest experience by greeting visitors warmly and creating a positive first impression. Cooper’s Hawk encourages team members to take initiative, be proactive, and embody a spirit of pride in their work, making a genuine impact through small but significant efforts.

This position is flexible with scheduling and offers numerous benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, paid time off, flexible schedules, and wellness support. Discounts on dining, carryout, retail wine, and private events are available to employees, as well as monthly wine tastings, early pay access, career growth opportunities, and team member rewards programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and capable of handling physical demands such as lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods. Cooper’s Hawk is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring all qualified candidates are considered regardless of race, color, religion, or other protected characteristics. This role is vital in upholding the high standards and warm atmosphere that Cooper’s Hawk is known for, contributing directly to the overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
