The Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (Pool DPC RN) role is essential within the Baptist Health system. This licensed professional demonstrates mastery of core nursing competencies including patient assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The nurse delivers patient- and family-centered care that is culturally competent and grounded in evidence-based practice standards focused on quality, safety, and service excellence. This role offers an estimated pay range of $47.00 per hour, providing both competitive compensation and a meaningful career opportunity within a leading healthcare network.

Job Requirements

  • associates degree in nursing or bachelors degree in nursing
  • basic life support certification
  • registered nurse license
  • completion of a preceptor class within twelve months of independent practice
  • required to work minimum shifts including weekends and holidays
  • at least 18 months of nursing experience
