This position is for a Patient Food Service Worker, a vital role ensuring patients receive meals prepared and delivered according to stringent food safety, infection control, quality, and service standards. This job offers a dynamic blend of responsibilities including meal preparation, assembly, and delivery to patients, replenishing supplies, serving guests, and performing sanitation duties. In addition, the role involves handling cashier transactions in the cafeteria with adherence to company policies and procedures, setting up and serving meals at corporate retail locations, catering events, and designated dining outlets such as the Doctors Dining Room. The candidate will also assist in decorating buffet and reception tables, contributing to the overall dining experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than one year of relevant experience
- Food safety certification within six months of hire
- Ability to perform meal preparation and delivery duties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain sanitation and infection control standards
- Capable of handling cashier transactions in the cafeteria
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, certificate of attendance, certificate of completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required
- Food safety certification required within six months of hire
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Prepare, assemble and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
- Deliver stock supplies to the patient floor kitchens
- Serve guests while maintaining positive customer relations
- Replenish used foods and supplies appropriately
- Complete sanitation duties daily
- Perform dish room duties as assigned
- Collect payments for guest trays and handle cafeteria food sales transactions as a cashier
- Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
- Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
