Job Description

San Manuel is one of the largest private employers in the Inland Empire, recognized not only for its extensive operations but also for its commitment to the growth, future, and well-being of its employees. The organization operates with a strong dedication to upholding the values and mission of the San Manuel Tribal community, offering a dynamic working environment within its gaming and hospitality venues. Known for its welcoming and inclusive culture, San Manuel integrates best practices across its enterprises, ensuring exceptional service delivery and memorable experiences for guests and members alike. The company's employment opportunities are designed to foster professional development and personal fulfillment, aligning the success of the employee with that of the organization. With a focus on creating a positive and safe workplace, San Manuel supports a range of roles across its resorts, casinos, spa, and recreational facilities, underscoring its status as a premier employer in the region.

The Pool Concierge role, reporting directly to the Supervisor of Pool Services, is a vital position within San Manuel’s hospitality offerings. This role demands an outgoing and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and is capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities. A key element of this position involves demonstrating a passion for people and fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to relax, rejuvenate, and elevate their health and wellness. The Pool Concierge is responsible for creating a memorable and best-in-class service experience, emphasizing guest safety and comfort at all times.

As the first point of contact at the pool, the Pool Concierge warmly welcomes guests, including VIP members, at pool check-in, managing special requests such as cabana and day bed rentals. This role requires coordination of VIP arrivals and efficient communication to ensure that each guest receives personalized service and timely delivery of amenities through collaboration with relevant departments. Beyond guest interaction, the position involves handling retail transactions with precision, including cash, credit card, and rewards processing through the Point-of-Sale System, as well as maintaining a balanced cash drawer.

The Pool Concierge plays a crucial role in maintaining the pool environment’s cleanliness and safety by ensuring sanitary conditions in all guest-visible areas and organizing merchandise presentation in the pool kiosk. This position also supports the facilities team by setting up and tearing down pool deck equipment and upholding departmental policies, procedures, and standards. The Pool Concierge helps promote seamless day-to-day operations by assisting with product receiving, order fulfillment, and training requirements.

Working in both the outdoor pool environment and indoor facilities, the Pool Concierge must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine commitment to delivering a friendly yet professional service experience. The job requires physical stamina to work long hours while standing or sitting and flexibility to accommodate weekend and holiday shifts. Through this role, employees contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and the successful operation of San Manuel’s pool services, thus supporting the larger goals and vision of the Tribe’s mission to provide extraordinary experiences for all visitors and members.
