The residential management team emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety, and community engagement to ensure that every resident feels valued and comfortable within the property.
We are currently seeking a Pool Concierge to join our vibrant team. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding hospitality services at the community pool, acting as the friendly face for residents and guests. The Pool Concierge is responsible for enhancing the overall resident experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming poolside environment while providing attentive service with a warm and approachable attitude. The ideal candidate will embody positivity, energy, and an outgoing nature, making every resident feel welcomed and well cared for during their time at the pool.
In this position, you will be greeted with a dynamic workday that involves greeting residents and guests, managing seating arrangements, distributing towels, and providing poolside amenities. Your involvement extends to assisting with light food and beverage services and supporting poolside activations and themed community events, contributing to the lively and engaging atmosphere of the pool area.
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness is an essential aspect of the role. Regular upkeep of furniture, pool deck areas, restrooms, and refreshment stations ensures the pool remains an attractive and safe place for all users. Part of your daily routine involves setting up lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas, as well as monitoring the availability of towels and other pool supplies.
Safety and security are paramount, and as a Pool Concierge, you will verify resident access via wristbands or key tags, enforce guest policies, and maintain vigilance around pool safety standards. Prompt response to any maintenance issues or safety hazards, including reporting incidents to management or security personnel, is critical. Emergency protocols must be adhered to, with immediate action taken if necessary.
This is a part-time position requiring availability primarily on weekends and holidays, with special event shifts typically spanning from 11 am to 7 pm. The role demands a capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions and involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing light cleaning duties.
Candidates who hold CPR and First Aid certifications and bring previous customer service or hospitality experience are preferred, though not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask calmly under pressure will support success in this role. Job Qualifications
- Minimum age 16 years old
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or concierge roles a plus
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- must wear appropriate swimwear or uniform as specified
Job Duties
- Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a welcoming and friendly environment
- assist with seating arrangements, distribute towels, and provide other poolside amenities
- share information about community events, promotions, and services
- handle minor resident requests and provide plastic cups for those with glass containers
- set up and maintain lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas daily
- ensure towels and poolside supplies are stocked and readily available
- assist with light food and beverage service, when applicable
- support or help coordinate poolside activities and themed events
- maintain a clean and organized pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas
- ensure restrooms and refreshment stations are tidy and fully stocked
- report any maintenance issues or broken equipment promptly
- verify resident access and enforce guest policies
- maintain awareness of general pool safety and assist with minor concerns
- immediately report any safety hazards, unauthorized parties, or incidents to management or security personnel
