Job Description
Bowie House, part of the Auberge Collection, is a distinctive and imaginative urban retreat that draws visitors through its rich history steeped in tales of frontier valor and adventure. This boutique hotel, located in a vibrant city setting, offers a unique blend of Western cultural elements and contemporary luxury. Spanning four stories with 106 rooms—including 88 guest rooms and 18 suites, one of which is a remarkable 2,250 square foot signature suite—Bowie House delivers an experience of sophistication and comfort. The hotel’s design inspiration is evident through its meticulous details, such as boot jacks and hat racks, seamlessly integrated with modern furnishings, artistic lighting, and curated artwork to create a welcoming and warm environment.
This urban haven functions as a social hub not just for tourists but also for local residents who seek a lively gathering spot infused with conviviality and camaraderie. Guests at Bowie House can enjoy multiple inviting lounges, including a library lounge perfect for savoring expertly crafted cocktails, or visit the signature restaurant that offers breathtaking views of lush outdoor terraces. Additionally, visitors can unwind in cabanas by the second-story outdoor infinity pool, which overlooks a serene garden oasis, providing an idyllic setting for relaxation and leisure.
The role of the Pool Bartender at Bowie House is integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience in the pool area. As a member of the dynamic service team, the Pool Bartender is entrusted with creating a warm, friendly, and engaging atmosphere for all guests upon their arrival at the pool. This position requires the ability to provide comprehensive food and beverage services to guests lounging around the pool area, ensuring that guests’ needs are met promptly and with professionalism.
Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting guests by name, where possible, and introducing first-time visitors to the facilities and amenities available. The Pool Bartender will take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, serve beverages and food swiftly, and ensure the pool area remains clean, organized, and inviting at all times. Additionally, this role involves acting as a liaison between guests, management, service staff, and kitchen personnel to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
Professionalism, attentiveness, and adherence to safety and sanitization protocols are critical in this role to maintain the highest standards of service and create a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in luxury hospitality settings, possess knowledge of food and wine, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is essential to meet the department’s operational demands.
Bowie House operates under the prestigious Auberge Collection umbrella, known for its portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs that emphasize bespoke luxury and authentic local experiences. Auberge Collection properties are renowned for their captivating design, exceptional cuisine, innovative well-being programs, and impeccable yet unobtrusive service, ensuring guests create unforgettable stories in some of the world’s most desirable destinations. Bowie House represents this ethos through its unique blend of history, culture, and thoughtful hospitality within an urban boutique setting.
Joining Bowie House means becoming part of the broader Friedkin family, a global portfolio that spans automotive, entertainment, hospitality, investments, and sports sectors.
