Job Duties

  • Provide professional, courteous and efficient food and beverage service to guests
  • Clean and set tables and perform related food service tasks including general cleaning and setup
  • Serve water, bread and coffee and greet guests by name during meal service
  • Stack trays properly for efficient unloading by servers and ensure safety standards
  • Complete closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking items, securing refrigerators, turning off lights and completing the daily cleaning checklist
  • Set up, store and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of porcelain, glassware and silverware before use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practice proper cleaning procedures and follow health and safety standards
  • Comply with company safety policies, maintain neat and professional appearance, protect company assets
  • Welcome and attend to guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, thank guests sincerely
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting or walking for extended periods, moving and lifting objects up to 50 pounds, fine motor coordination tasks, navigating uneven surfaces, climbing stairs and ramps, performing reaching, bending, twisting, pulling and stooping movements
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
