Job Requirements
- Meet attendance expectations and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100-120 pounds and push loaded carts weighing up to 650 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, pulling, lifting, and carrying of bar stock, supplies, and equipment
- Manual dexterity required for preparing and serving beverages, operating bar equipment, and performing cleaning duties
- Ability to complete cash-handling transactions and related documentation accurately
- Ability to safely operate bar and service equipment, including cash registers, carts, beverage dispensing systems, blenders, coffee and frozen drink machines, ice machines, and beer, wine, juice, and soda hook-ups
- Ability to effectively respond to visual and auditory cues in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a casino and hospitality environment with exposure to secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lighting, and varying temperatures
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three months of experience as a Bar Porter preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Health Card
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous cash-handling and beverage service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance
- Demonstrate accurate free-pouring techniques with consistent shot measurements
- Possess a working knowledge of flair bartending, including basic bottle flipping
- Assist with approved fire-related bar presentations while adhering to all safety and certification requirements
- Perform choreographed singing and dancing routines as required
- Consistently deliver exceptional guest service in accordance with Spotlight on Service standards
- Retrieve beverages and supplies from storage areas and transport them to designated bars using carts and dollies
