Ascent Hospitality is a prominent hotel management company with an extensive portfolio of hotels and a strong pipeline of new properties and acquisitions. Despite its significant presence in the hospitality industry, Ascent Hospitality places a strong emphasis on people rather than just numbers, making its team culture a core foundation of its success. The company fosters an environment where both team members and guests experience memorable interactions, underscoring a philosophy that prioritizes service excellence, collaboration, and community. With its commitment to creating a unified and motivated workforce, Ascent Hospitality continually seeks individuals who are team players, passionate about service, and adaptive to change and challenges. This approach has positioned Ascent Hospitality not only as a leader in hotel management but also as an employer that values personal growth and customer satisfaction equally.
The Room Attendant position at Ascent Hospitality is a crucial role dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order throughout the hotel. This position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, ensuring that common areas such as hallways and restrooms are maintained to the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness, and assisting in the overall upkeep of the hotel property. The role is multifaceted and requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a customer-centered approach. Room Attendants at Ascent Hospitality are not only responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms but also play a significant role in guest experience by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs.
In this role, Room Attendants are required to perform various duties including sorting linens, replenishing supplies, cleaning public areas, and reporting any maintenance issues. They also ensure that rooms meet quality standards through thorough inspections and adherence to the hotel’s cleanliness protocols. The position demands physical stamina as attendants are expected to lift and move objects, stand for extended periods, and carry out repetitive motions with care and professionalism. Furthermore, friendly communication skills are essential as attendants interact with guests, addressing their needs and providing local information when required.
Ascent Hospitality offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package to Room Attendants, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance options, a 401k plan with employer match, paid time off, uniforms for most positions, and team member hotel discount programs. The company values professional development and provides training to enhance skills and career growth. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are energetic, team-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, dynamic hotel environment.
