The Operations Supervisor role at Aloft Hotels is a pivotal position dedicated to supporting the daily hotel operations to ensure a seamless and energetic guest experience that aligns consistently with the Aloft brand standards. This role is crucial in supervising front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring that all service delivery, cleanliness, and operational standards meet Marriott’s global expectations. The Operations Supervisor contributes to the overall smooth running of the property by closely monitoring day-to-day activities and directly engaging with team members to foster a positive and efficient work environment.

This position involves hands-on leadership where the supervisor supports staff scheduling, coaches talent, facilitates onboarding for new hires, and champions the hotel’s vibrant service culture. The Operations Supervisor acts as an essential link between the management team and operational staff, proactively addressing any service issues or compliance concerns to drive guest satisfaction and maintain brand integrity. The role also entails monitoring guest feedback and resolving service challenges promptly and effectively to ensure each guest’s stay is exceptional.

In partnership with department leaders, the Operations Supervisor ensures compliance with all safety, security, and brand standards, including room cleanliness, upkeep of public spaces, and basic maintenance tasks. Additionally, the supervisor helps manage inventory controls and oversees shifts to maintain smooth operations throughout the property. This role demands a guest-focused, hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example to motivate the team and enhance overall property performance. Job Requirements
