Job Description
Gainor is a prominent Am Law 100 firm known for its comprehensive legal services and commitment to client satisfaction. As a leader in the legal industry, the firm maintains a strong culture of professionalism and excellence while fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. Gainor is currently seeking a Corporate Event Planner to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis. The position is primarily remote, based in New York, NY, with occasional on-site requirements for event execution.
The Corporate Event Planner at Gainor will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s client-facing and internal event functions. This is a specialized position ideal for an experienced event planner with at least five years in a corporate environment, particularly within law firms, professional services firms, or similar settings. The Event Planner will manage a broad spectrum of events, including virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats, ensuring each is executed with precision and reflects the firm’s high standards of professionalism.
The role includes planning and coordinating all facets of event logistics, such as venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering arrangements, attendee registration, and communication. The planner will also be responsible for managing event budgets, adhering to timelines, generating reports, and conducting post-event evaluations to measure success and identify improvements. By delivering seamless events, the planner helps to further the firm’s business development and relationship-building objectives.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $52 to $58, depending on experience. The hybrid work model provides flexibility while also supporting in-person engagement for key events. As part of Gainor’s commitment to equity and inclusion, all hiring decisions are made without regard to race, gender, age, disability, or other protected statuses, ensuring a fair and welcoming recruitment process.
