Job Description

Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace, renowned for bringing an authentic Italian culinary experience to guests across the globe. Unlike typical chains, each Eataly location is unique, reflecting its own character and theme, yet all share the same core mission: to offer guests a multifaceted experience that includes eating authentic Italian food, shopping high-quality Italian and local products, and learning about Italian cuisine and culture through engaging classes and expert product knowledge. At its heart, Eataly combines a marketplace, restaurant, and learning environment all under one roof, creating a vibrant destination for food lovers and culture enthusiasts.

Working at Eataly means being part of a passionate community dedicated to preserving and sharing Italy’s rich culinary heritage. The company values craftsmanship, authenticity, and quality in every aspect of its operations, from the carefully curated selection of ingredients to the artful preparation of traditional dishes. This dedication to excellence has made Eataly a beloved name worldwide, where guests can indulge in the flavors of Italy while exploring artisanal products and gaining insights into authentic Italian cooking.

The role of Pizza Maker at Eataly is a vital part of this immersive experience. The Pizza Maker is primarily responsible for producing Roman-style pizza alla pala, following authentic Italian recipes that ensure each pizza is a masterpiece of genuine flavor and quality. This position reports directly to the Bakery Manager and plays a key role in maintaining the high standards Eataly is known for. The Pizza Maker’s daily tasks include preparing pizzas according to specific recipes, ensuring compliance with portion sizes and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and sanitary production environment in accordance with Department of Health regulations.

Additionally, the Pizza Maker collaborates closely with Sales Associates, offering assistance when needed and engaging enthusiastically with guests who want to learn more about pizza production methods. The role demands dedication to mastering all aspects of pizza production across multiple shifts and flexibility in working hours, often including evenings and weekends. Compensation for this position ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, reflecting the skill and care required to excel in this artisanal craft.

Joining Eataly as a Pizza Maker means more than just crafting exceptional pizzas; it means becoming part of a dynamic team that celebrates culinary tradition and innovation. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, learning, and direct interaction with guests who appreciate authentic Italian cuisine. By joining Eataly, employees become ambassadors of Italian culinary culture, contributing to a unique marketplace that blends food, education, and exceptional hospitality in a vibrant setting. If you have a passion for artisanal food preparation and a desire to work in an inspiring environment dedicated to Italian gastronomy, this is the perfect role for you.
