Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to work safely and quickly with kitchen utensils and equipment
- ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally
- ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
- must be able to work and move quickly in a tight-space environment in a safe manner without disrupting other employees
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent optional
- minimum of one year’s experience in a large commercial kitchen operation preferred
- ability to read, write and speak English
- proficient verbal communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with kitchen and front of the house employees
- extensive knowledge of proper food handling requirements
- extensive knowledge of food recipes
- strong knowledge of safe usage of kitchen utensils and equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
- prepare pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings
- monitor the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times
- prepare high-quality pizzas according to the company recipe book
- manage all food order slips and ensure that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner
- provide exemplary guest service on a consistent basis
- complete any and all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization
- perform all assigned side-work quickly and efficiently
- properly set up and break down stations before and after operating hours
