Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to work safely and quickly with kitchen utensils and equipment
  • ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally
  • ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
  • must be able to work and move quickly in a tight-space environment in a safe manner without disrupting other employees

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent optional
  • minimum of one year’s experience in a large commercial kitchen operation preferred
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • proficient verbal communication skills
  • strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with kitchen and front of the house employees
  • extensive knowledge of proper food handling requirements
  • extensive knowledge of food recipes
  • strong knowledge of safe usage of kitchen utensils and equipment

Job Duties

  • Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
  • prepare pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings
  • monitor the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times
  • prepare high-quality pizzas according to the company recipe book
  • manage all food order slips and ensure that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner
  • provide exemplary guest service on a consistent basis
  • complete any and all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization
  • perform all assigned side-work quickly and efficiently
  • properly set up and break down stations before and after operating hours
