The restaurant caters to a wide variety of guests with offerings available throughout the day including brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks, making it ideal for everything from casual get-togethers to special celebrations.

We are currently looking for a skilled Pizza Cook to join our vibrant team at Stella 34, available in both full-time and part-time capacities. In this role, you will be at the heart of producing high-quality pizzas, carefully preparing and assembling dishes according to established recipes and the chef's precise instructions. This position demands attention to detail to ensure each pizza is cooked perfectly with the ideal crust texture and topping distribution, which requires diligent monitoring of oven temperatures and cooking times. Working collaboratively with kitchen staff, maintaining an organized and efficient line, and upholding stringent cleanliness and sanitation standards are also key responsibilities. The role offers a dynamic work environment filled with support and opportunities to develop your culinary skills within a prestigious venue. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both your personal and professional life. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs to and from freezers and ovens, reach up to seven feet, twist, bend, and squat
  • standing and walking for the entire length of the shift in moderate to high noise levels
  • manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids, and operate kitchen equipment
  • exposure to variable temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of previous experience as a pizza cook or similar role
  • in-depth knowledge of pizza preparation techniques including dough stretching and topping distribution
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • basic math skills
  • ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas while adhering to recipe standards
  • monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve perfect crust texture and toppings
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient workflow
  • uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pizza preparation area
