Job Description
IR Management LLC is the parent company behind Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG), an established leader in the hospitality industry known for its exceptional approach to employee care and guest service. Founded in 2009 by Steve Palmer, IRHG has distinguished itself by fostering a working environment that prioritizes the well-being and growth of its team members. With operations expanding to over 30 locations, including restaurants, boutique hotels, and luxury spas, this company places a strong emphasis on internal career development and providing employees with robust benefits. Their culture is not just about offering jobs but delivering what they describe as the best career experiences in hospitality, where employees are supported to flourish both personally and professionally.
Currently, IR Management LLC is preparing for the grand opening of the Rivet House, Athens, Georgia's first luxury boutique hotel scheduled for spring 2024. This establishment will feature 50 luxurious guest rooms, an upscale Italian restaurant and bar called Osteria Olio, a coffee bar, retail shop, and a 2800 square foot health and beauty spa. Positioned near the University of Georgia, this location offers a vibrant, culturally rich environment for both staff and guests. IRHG's commitment at Rivet House is to uphold their trademark heart and quality service through dedicated and skilled team members.
The Pizza Cook position at IR Management LLC plays a critical role in maintaining high culinary standards and ensuring guests receive the best dining experience possible. This role requires a commitment to consistency, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The selected candidate will embrace opportunities to expand their skills, including learning artisanal techniques such as making homemade pastas and bread daily, cooking with wood fire grills and ovens, and even performing whole animal butchery techniques.
The Pizza Cook is not just a cook but a craftsman responsible for the quality and presentation of dishes served at Osteria Olio. They will ensure all food preparation aligns with the company’s high standards for portion size, cooking methods, and cleanliness, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations. Beyond daily cooking responsibilities, the role involves maintaining kitchen station cleanliness, managing food inventory at line stations, and contributing to overall kitchen efficiency during peak and off-peak hours. The Pizza Cook will also partake in closing procedures following thorough checklists to ensure kitchen readiness for the next service.
Beyond culinary skills, the role demands strong communication abilities, a keen sense of kitchen safety, and the physical stamina to endure extended periods of standing, moving, and precise manual tasks. The work schedule requires flexibility, including availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays. IRHG offers this role as part of their commitment to people-first employment practices, encouraging career growth opportunities and inclusive workplace culture that respects diversity and equal opportunity.
Joining IR Management LLC as a Pizza Cook means becoming part of a dynamic hospitality group with a heartfelt mission to revolutionize the industry. This is an opportunity to work within a forward-thinking, supportive company environment focused on professional development and delivering memorable guest experiences within the luxury boutique hotel and fine dining setting. With IRHG, you’re not just taking a job—you’re building a career with impact, purpose, and passion.
