The role of Pizza Chef at California Pizza Kitchen is designed for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment. As a Pizza Chef, you will be an essential contributor to delivering the signature California creativity and quality that CPK is known for. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and sanitation while preparing pizzas in a timely manner. Expertise in operating the "Dough-Pro" machine and supporting line checks and prep par sheets are key aspects of this role. The Pizza Chef ensures that each pizza station is properly stocked and maintained, practicing safe and sanitary handling of all kitchen tools and equipment, including cutting boards, knives, countertops, and machinery. This position also involves performing daily station opening, closing, and side work duties to uphold operational excellence.
