At California Pizza Kitchen, the Pizza Chef role is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food, creativity, and customer service. As a Pizza Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of food quality and sanitation that guests expect from CPK. You will be responsible for the timely preparation of all pizzas within your station, utilizing expert knowledge of the "Dough-Pro" machine—a critical piece of kitchen equipment that helps ensure the perfect dough consistency every time. In addition to preparing menu items, you will support daily line checks, complete prep par sheets for each shift, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of your workstation.

CPK encourages its Pizza Chefs to practice and promote safe and sanitary handling of all kitchen tools and equipment, including cutting boards, countertops, knives, and other utensils. Maintaining proper temperatures of kitchen equipment and performing opening, closing, and side work duties are also essential aspects of the role, contributing to efficient kitchen operations and excellent guest experiences.
