The role we are hiring for is a skilled Food Preparation Team Member, responsible for preparing and making food products in a timely manner without compromising on quality or safety. This position requires a trained expert with proficiency in all aspects of food preparation, including following recipes accurately, ensuring proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are adhered to. You will be the cornerstone of our food production process, crafting handmade items consistently while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and taste.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, managing the quality and consistency of products throughout the production line, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the work area. You will also be tasked with documenting and reporting any discrepancies regarding food products, safety concerns, or equipment issues. Additionally, part of your job will involve setting up the kitchen efficiently for upcoming shifts, helping to open and close the workspace as needed.

This role demands someone who can multitask efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced food service environment, communicate effectively with team members and customers, and demonstrate an eye for detail along with a passion for quality. The position involves physical requirements such as standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying loads, and occasionally climbing or stooping. Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle if they are involved in delivery tasks.

Job Duties

  • assist in food preparation
  • consistently prepare and serve food according to presentation standards and recipes
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station including all food prep, sanitation, and storage areas
  • prepare a variety of food items accurately and with quality
  • manage and ensure quality of each step of the product life particularly the production-line
  • document and report any discrepancies with food products, safety, and equipment if necessary
  • setup kitchen successfully for next shift including opens and closes
