We are excited to invite a skilled and creative artisanal pizza maker with experience in wood oven cooking to join our dedicated team at Arpeggio. This position offers excellent pay and can accommodate either hourly or salaried compensation based on an agreed schedule. The artisanal pizza maker will play an essential role in crafting authentic handmade pizzas that meet Arpeggio's high standards of quality and taste. Beyond preparing traditional pizzas, the ideal candidate will contribute to the development of innovative and unique pizza menu offerings, helping to keep the menu fresh and exciting for our guests. This role requires hands-on involvement in recipe development, portion control, and ensuring every pizza is presented beautifully and consistently.

The artisanal pizza maker will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and uphold strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines. Since the pizza preparation area is situated within the dining room, the successful candidate must be personable, clean-cut, and comfortable interacting with guests in a friendly manner. This role demands a team player who gets along well with others and contributes positively to the restaurant’s atmosphere. With a workweek typically ranging from 45 to 55 hours, reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are essential. We require at least two references to verify experience and suitability for this important culinary position.
