The app focuses on sending users the pictures that their friends take of them, creating a unique and personalized photo experience. Cheez is rapidly gaining popularity, especially among younger audiences who love attending events, parties, and social gatherings. To promote this exciting app, Cheez leverages professional photographers who attend cool events and parties, offering free professional photos to attendees. These photos are then made accessible to users through the app, encouraging downloads and active engagement. This dynamic approach combines social networking with professional photography, setting Cheez apart in the crowded photo-sharing market.

The role we are looking to fill is crucial to the success of this innovative promotion strategy. As an Events and Photography Coordinator at Cheez, you will be responsible for scouting and securing ideal events where our target audience—primarily those aged 18-25 who enjoy dressing up and socializing—frequently gather. You will build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, venue managers, and other key stakeholders to create fruitful partnerships that enable Cheez to offer its professional photography services. Your work will involve sourcing, recruiting, and managing a talented team of freelance photographers who not only excel in photography but also possess outgoing personalities and the ability to engage attendees effectively.

In this role, you will oversee the meticulous scheduling and deployment of photographers to events, matching the right talent to the appropriate venues for maximum impact. Continuous monitoring and reporting on photographer performance and service effectiveness will be critical. Your feedback and strategic adjustments will ensure ongoing improvement of the photography service, enhancing user experience and increasing app downloads. After each event, you will coordinate follow-up communications between photographers and organizers to guarantee smooth delivery of the photos and swiftly resolve any issues.

Job Duties

  • Research and identify key events, parties, and venues that are appropriate for our goals (e.g. where guests are 18-25, where people dress up, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain relationships with event organizers, venue managers, etc. for partnership opportunities, offering our professional photography services
  • Recruit, hire, and manage a team of freelance photographers
  • oversee scheduling and coordination of photographers to various events
  • Monitor and report on the performance of photographers and service effectiveness at each event, implementing changes for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with event organizers and photographers post-event to ensure successful delivery of services and handle any issues
  • Manage communication between all parties to ensure smooth operations and high client satisfaction
