Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
- models and shares customer service best practices with team members
- develops strong relationships with most valuable customers
- registers customer purchases, collects cash, distributes change, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to policies
- maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays, completes resets as directed
- has working knowledge of store systems and equipment
- assists with store maintenance and appearance
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- completes special assignments and tasks as assigned
- attends training and completes assigned personal development modules
