You will also implement asset protection procedures to minimize loss and contribute to maintaining the quality and appearance of the store environment. By working closely with other team members, you will share customer service best practices and uphold Walgreens' high standards for interpersonal interactions, including courtesy, eye contact, and proactive help.

Job Duties

  • Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
  • resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
  • models and shares customer service best practices with team members
  • develops strong relationships with most valuable customers
  • registers customer purchases, collects cash, distributes change, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
  • recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
  • operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
  • reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to policies
  • maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, checks in and prices merchandise
  • implements asset protection procedures
  • ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
  • constructs and maintains displays, completes resets as directed
  • has working knowledge of store systems and equipment
  • assists with store maintenance and appearance
