Job Duties
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure positive customer experience
- model and share customer service best practices including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits
- develop strong relationships with most valuable customers
- register customer purchases, collect cash and distribute change
- process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommend items for sale and trade-up or companion items
- assist with over-the-counter products and guide customers to aisles
- operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors
- keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
- take inventory and maintain records
- check in and price merchandise as required or directed
- implement company asset protection procedures
- ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- construct and maintain displays including promotional and seasonal
- complete resets and revisions
- assist with store maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly appearance
