Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
- Willingness to travel
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliance
- Pharmaceutical, medical, promotional, or related professional experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain detailed reporting and compliance records
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience such as pharmaceutical sales, medical/medical device sales, professional sales or promotional activity, entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT), educator roles (e.g., teacher, principal), or full-time military experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as required
- Valid US driver’s license with compliant driving record
- Experience in urgent care settings is preferred
- Proficiency in building customer relationships and managing sales processes
Job Duties
- Provide P1 support to physicians about COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options
- Educate identified targets to ensure customer preparedness on patient identification
- Build working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact
- Ensure close collaboration with customer-facing colleagues to align goals and coordinate efforts
- Understand customer and market landscape within assigned geographies and prioritize opportunities
- Operate in a team environment that encourages high collaboration and idea sharing
- Engage healthcare providers by probing, answering questions, and managing drug interaction queries
- Maintain expert understanding of the product, market factors, and approved promotional materials
- Implement strategic call plans to exceed geographic goals
- Analyze previous customer interactions and data to tailor sales approaches
- Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize local opportunities and develop strategies
- Guide retail pharmacy interface to further sales efforts
- Use effective interaction techniques including pre-call planning and call summaries
- Customize sales messages to customer needs
- Share information on approved support resources
- Complete all reporting and inventory responsibilities
- Balance study and certification time with field duties
- Participate in required sales conferences and training
- Complete all required compliance training within set timelines
