Situated at 18910 South Dixie Highway, Miami, this urgent care center offers fast and convenient medical attention for patients experiencing minor illnesses and injuries. The position available is for a PG Receptionist, a critical role at U Health Jackson Urgent Care Cutler Bay. This role is full-time, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering stability and a structured work schedule. The PG Receptionist serves as the primary access point for patients, ensuring that everyone who enters the facility experiences prompt, efficient, and compassionate customer service. Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients to electronic health records
  • Collect identification and insurance information to scan into patient charts
  • Collect copays, coinsurance, deductible, and past due balances
  • Schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients
  • Contact patients that no show or cancel appointments to reschedule
  • Manage incoming faxes and messages by attaching to patients electronic health records or processing requests
  • Confirm appointments and verify patients insurance eligibility daily
  • Process medical records requests by scanning or faxing requested information
  • Assist therapists with scheduling tests and ancillary services
  • Ensure all requested authorizations have been approved
  • Demonstrate behaviors of service excellence and CARE values
  • Perform all other related job duties as assigned
