Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking or culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Good physical stamina to stand and perform kitchen duties for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Availability and scheduling flexibility is a must
  • Ability to provide customer service while multitasking is a must
  • Follow standard recipes and direction to prepare food
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
  • Adhere to special requests and special diet orders
  • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
  • Operate standard commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all sanitation production regulations
