Job Description

Providence Heart Institute of Montana, located within the Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana, is a distinguished healthcare institution recognized for its exceptional quality of cardiovascular care. The institute boasts a highly skilled team comprising 14 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons who deliver comprehensive vascular, cardiac, and thoracic interventions and services. The open position is for a Per Diem General Cardiologist who is either board-eligible or board-certified. This role offers a flexible Per Diem schedule, allowing physicians to balance professional and personal commitments effectively. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dedicated team within a state-of-the-art facility that provides 24-hour hospitalist coverage. The primary responsibility involves reading echocardiograms, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), with an emphasis on precision and clinical expertise. An ideal candidate will be motivated, compassionate, and bring a robust background in clinical cardiology and formal training in echocardiography. Preference is given to candidates with additional expertise in nuclear cardiology. This position also provides the option for remote reading of imaging studies when not on campus, enhancing flexibility and work-life balance. Job Requirements

  • medical degree from accredited institution
