Known for its extensive portfolio that includes iconic brands such as Pepsi, Lay's, Gatorade, Tropicana, and Quaker, PepsiCo operates in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. The company prides itself on innovation, sustainability, and community engagement, making it a highly respected and influential player in the consumer goods market. As a major employer, PepsiCo offers a wide range of career opportunities that promote professional growth, diversity, and inclusion.
The Delivery Driver / Vending Product Delivery Driver role is an integral part of PepsiCo’s supply chain and distribution network. This position involves the delivery of beverages, snacks, and vending products to retail stores, businesses, and vending machine locations along an assigned route. Drivers play a critical role in ensuring that products are delivered on time, inventory is accurately maintained, and vending machines are fully stocked and operational. This role demands a combination of driving, inventory management, merchandising, customer service, and operational compliance.
Drivers are responsible for loading their trucks with products, safely operating a company delivery vehicle, and navigating assigned routes efficiently. They must adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies while using handheld devices to track deliveries and inventory data. In addition to delivering products, drivers stock shelves and vending machines, rotate product to maintain freshness, build attractive product displays, and collect payments where necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as drivers develop and maintain positive working relationships with store managers and business owners, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any issues that arise on their routes.
This full-time position offers competitive pay, typically ranging from $25 to $34 per hour or $55,000 to $75,000 per year. There are additional earning opportunities through overtime pay, route and performance bonuses, and commissions tied to vending or product sales depending on the location and route. Full-time employees may qualify for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, pension benefits in some locations, paid time off, paid holidays, and company-provided uniforms. Moreover, PepsiCo encourages career advancement and offers pathways to roles such as Route Sales Representative or management positions, fostering long-term career growth within the company.
The role demands a combination of physical stamina, attention to detail, and customer service orientation. Candidates should be prepared to handle the physical aspects of loading and unloading products, climbing vending machines, and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining safety and operational standards. Experience with delivery vehicle operation and inventory management is highly valued. The role is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic, hands-on position within a globally respected corporation, offering financial rewards, benefits, and opportunities for career development. At PepsiCo, employees are part of a team that values innovation, safety, and excellence, contributing directly to the company's mission of creating more smiles with every sip and every bite.
