Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum two years management experience for external candidates
- One year Pei Wei Manager experience or six months Pei Wei Manager experience plus one year previous restaurant management experience for internal candidates
- Ability to handle guest service issues professionally
- Skilled in team supervision and delegation
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines
- Capacity to manage food preparation and quality standards
- Competency in inventory management and ordering
- Capability to assist in recruitment, hiring, and training
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to reach, bend, balance, and lift objects up to 30 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift
Job Qualifications

- Ability to apply data from multiple sources to support fact-based decisions
- Timely decision-making skills

- Experience in training team members in all front-of-house and back-of-house positions
- Ability to coach and improve team member performance
- Effective communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Handle guest service issues professionally and with composure
- Foster a safe, respectful and quality employee experience
- Partner with the GM to identify and address opportunities to increase business results using the P&L
- Accountable for following and executing all state safety and sanitation guidelines
- Consistently ensure proper timing and production of all food orders
- Supervise and facilitate training of food preparation and execution of all menu items, procedures, and recipes
- Maintain all product quality standards by performing regular line checks
- Complete all prep lists, order guides, and cost and food inventories
- Support business goals including food costs, labor, and team member retention
- Supervise, assign, and delegate tasks and give direction to staff and management
- Assist the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training
- Act as a goodwill ambassador to the Pei Wei community
- Responsible for regular restaurant repairs and maintenance
- Assist the General Manager in development of other managers and shift leaders
- Proficiently place all restaurant orders including Coke, DSI, Ed, etc.
- Partner with the GM to forecast sales and develop schedules with proper staffing to achieve labor goals
