Job Description
AccentCare is a leading home healthcare provider dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality care services throughout the Hudson Valley. The company specializes in providing personal care assistance (PCA), home health aide (HHA) services, and caregiving support to individuals who require help with daily living activities to maintain their independence at home. AccentCare is known for its commitment to both clients and employees, fostering a supportive and professional environment that emphasizes growth, ongoing training, and community impact. With weekly orientations available at its Yonkers and Poughkeepsie offices, AccentCare ensures that all new hires are well-prepared and equipped with the necessary knowledge to excel in their caregiving roles.
AccentCare offers a flexible work schedule with opportunities for full-time and part-time employment, catering to diverse needs and preferences of caregivers. The company currently has live-in caregiving cases available in New Rochelle and Mt. Vernon, providing caregivers with the chance to work 2 to 4 days per week in these locations. AccentCare stands out by offering free monthly PCA training accompanied by a paid stipend for individuals who are not yet certified, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the caregiving profession or advance their skills. The hourly pay ranges competitively between $19.85 and $22.00, with a structure designed to reward dedication and reliability.
Working at AccentCare means more than just a job in home health; it means joining a passionate team devoted to making a significant difference in the lives of clients and their families. The company promotes a culture of respect, support, and recognition, featuring employee discounts, referral bonuses, daily pay options through DailyPay, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and various wellness programs. Caregivers at AccentCare enjoy a flexible schedule that respects their personal time and commitments while encouraging professional development through continuous education and advancement opportunities.
This role requires compassionate, reliable individuals who are committed to delivering excellent care to clients. While prior personal caregiving experience is helpful, it is not mandatory, as AccentCare provides the necessary training to prepare team members for success. A reliable mode of transportation is essential to fulfill job duties efficiently across different client locations. Candidates should have a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in others' lives while thriving in a positive and collaborative team environment. AccentCare’s reputation as a supportive employer combined with competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth makes it an appealing choice for anyone passionate about caregiving and home healthcare services.
