The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture that empowers employees to grow professionally while making a positive impact in the communities they serve. LCS offers a vibrant work environment where teamwork, integrity, and respect for individuals are at the core of everything they do. As a top workplace recognized in both the USA and Iowa, LCS invites passionate professionals to join their mission of enriching senior lives through dedicated service and community involvement. The organization promotes career development, offers outstanding advancement opportunities, and is deeply involved in charitable efforts, making it a place where employees not only work but also give back and thrive.
The role of Payroll Analyst Quality Assurance at LCS is a critical position within the payroll department, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll processes within a complex multi-state organization. This role entails assisting with payroll training, developing and supporting payroll policies and procedures, and providing systems support related to payroll and timekeeping systems. A key aspect of the job is the onboarding of new communities into the payroll system and validating system integrity to ensure seamless payroll operations. The Payroll Analyst acts as a liaison between payroll and other departments, collaborating on interdepartmental projects and assisting management with payroll auditing, processing, and reporting tasks.
The Payroll Analyst is also tasked with processing bi-weekly payrolls for retirement communities and submitting tax filings to ADP in a timely and accurate manner. Maintaining federal, state, and local payroll tax records is vital, along with reconciling tax accounts and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The role requires a deep understanding of payroll laws and the administration of company policies to maintain adherence to all federal, state, and local requirements.
Beyond routine payroll tasks, the analyst contributes to the design and implementation of payroll processing tools and auditing procedures, participating actively in quality assurance committee meetings to maintain high standards. There is a strong emphasis on audit accuracy, tracking audit findings, and reviewing them with management to continually enhance payroll services. Support for third-party system implementations and close collaboration with IT on system issues, updates, and upgrades are additional responsibilities.
This position requires proficiency with Oracle HCM Cloud and timekeeping systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Successful candidates are expected to have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality and excellent communication standards. The role offers a salary range of $66,000 to $82,000 per year and includes competitive benefits. LCS seeks individuals who are committed to excellence and eager to contribute to an organization that values its employees and the communities it serves. A post-offer background check, including references, is required for this position.
