Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in food service supervision or management
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before start date
- Ability to manage and motivate a large team
- Knowledge of healthcare nutrition standards preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Job Qualifications
- Requires at least 1-2 year experience in a food service supervisor or management role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare patient services management experience preferred
- Experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs required
- Excellent interpersonal, customer services and organizational skills required
- Nutrition education and/or background preferred
- Must be able to work a varied schedule (opening, closing and mid shift plus alternate weekends and holidays)
- Experience managing a union workforce is a plus
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before start date
Job Duties
- Manages patient food service activities, complying with established standards
- Leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
- Conducts rounds on patients and departments
- Oversees the diet office, host/hostesses and the service ambassador program
- Records safety and sanitation compliance
- Supervises tray line operation and/or the room service program
