The company boasts a high-growth trajectory and is committed to delivering an exceptional, personalized experience to every patient by leveraging the expertise of trusted community doctors and knowledgeable teams. With a focus on inclusivity, MyEyeDr. accepts all insurance plans and offers a broad selection of stylish eyewear, catering to the unique needs of each individual. This commitment to quality care is accompanied by a culture that values collaboration, patient-centric service, and continuous professional development for its associates.
The Patient Service Coordinator role at MyEyeDr. is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to embark on a meaningful career journey in the healthcare sector, particularly within vision care. Reporting to the Office General Manager, this position entails managing and coordinating front desk operations to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience during check-in and check-out processes. Even without prior optical experience, candidates will receive comprehensive training and tools necessary to become proficient in the industry. This role is pivotal in creating personalized encounters for patients, verifying insurance information, assisting with appointment scheduling, and supporting overall office functions. It demands flexibility, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both patients and team members.
The role offers competitive wages that vary by location within Virginia, ranging from $15.00 to $21.80 per hour depending on experience and specific county, with guaranteed compliance above minimum wage laws. The schedule may include some evening and weekend shifts, reflecting the operational needs of the offices. Candidates will benefit from a supportive environment that encourages growth through role-specific training programs, opportunities for bonuses and commissions tied to performance, and a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes medical and dental insurance, life insurance, tax-advantaged savings plans, and a 401K retirement plan with company matching. Additionally, associates receive vision coverage, discounts on eyewear products, paid time off, and paid holidays from their first day with the company.
Joining MyEyeDr. means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization that prioritizes both associate and patient care. It offers a unique blend of a healthcare-centric work environment with the dynamism of retail, fostering an inclusive and fun workplace culture. This position suits highly organized, friendly, and patient-focused individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team. It is ideal for professionals looking to develop their administrative and customer service skills within a reputable healthcare brand dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives by enhancing their vision and quality of life.
