The Patient Dining Mobilization Manager - RDN Required is a pivotal role within Aramark Healthcare, responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of patient dining programs from self-operation or competitors to Aramark's renowned Healthcare+ standards and offerings. This position involves comprehensive oversight and activation of healthcare accounts, focusing on patient dining services, menu implementation, service quality, and operational procedures. The manager will work broadly with stakeholders including clinical teams, food service staff, and administrative personnel to tailor opening plans specific to each account, ensuring rapid but thorough implementation.
Operating on a remote basis with approximately 75% travel to various healthcare locations, the role follows a dynamic schedule of 10 days onsite followed by 4 days off, allowing intensive hands-on support during critical activation windows. Key responsibilities include guaranteeing the adherence to Aramark’s standards in menus, recipes, tray assembly, and delivery processes, alongside maintaining regulatory compliance and clinical nutrition protocols. The manager will play an essential role in training staff, troubleshooting program challenges, managing risks, and delivering measurable outcomes aligned with client expectations.
This position requires a Registered Dietitian with active registration and substantial experience in acute or long-term care patient dining operations, adept in managing multi-site responsibilities and skilled with systems such as CBORD. Job Requirements
- Active registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years progressive experience in acute or long-term care patient dining operations
- Experience with multiple patient dining delivery models
- Working knowledge of CBORD system preferred
- Proven experience in account site activation
- Understanding of clinical nutrition programs and regulatory compliance
- Ability to travel 75 percent nationally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and creativity in program implementation
Job Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with active registration with CDR required
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in acute care or long-term care patient dining operations with more than one type of patient dining delivery model experience
- Multi-site responsibilities preferred
- Possess working knowledge of CBORD system strongly preferred
- Experience with successful account site activation a must
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of clinical nutrition programs, regulatory compliance and professional clinical nutrition practice standards
- Ability to travel 75 percent of the time to Aramark Healthcare+ accounts nationally
Job Duties
- Perform healthcare account activation duties for patient dining
- Align program sold to implementation plan
- Work in partnership with all stakeholders for patient dining, tailoring an opening plan as needed, ensuring successful account opening
- Provide hands-on support during activation planning period, go live and throughout the 30, 60, 90-day window
- Ensure full implementation of Aramark’s standards, procedures and policies to include menu distribution and collection, diet office requirements and procedures, tray assembly and delivery standards using Aramark program standards for menus, recipes, service, image and communication
- Ensure regulatory requirements and industry standards are met
- Work with identified operations team to manage a practical implementation checklist and handoff of activation in a simple, rigorous, and measurable manner
- Enable delivery with speed and agility by clearly understanding all challenges and opportunities
- Identify and perform training
- Exhibit creativity to solve present challenges regarding program implementation
- Provide troubleshooting
- Enable identification, resolution, and potential escalation of issues and mid-course correction/revision of plans
- Validate the expected plan execution and outcomes as defined/desired by Client/Aramark
- Identify and manage risks that may impede the account success
- Quickly manage up unexpected or unresolved concerns throughout
- Continually bring perspective based on input/feedback and identify ways to improve effectiveness/efficiency while simultaneously leveraging effective practices
- Foster support and relationships by developing a strong level of trust and credibility with all stakeholders
- Act as an operator advocate throughout the process
