Job Description

CHOICE Healthcare Services is a leading healthcare provider specializing in pediatric dental care throughout the Southwest United States. As the largest provider in this niche, CHOICE is committed to making high-quality dental health accessible to children in the communities it serves. The organization has built a strong reputation for delivering compassionate and expert care, which is supported by the dedication and expertise of its team members. Their mission revolves around ensuring that every child receives the healthcare they deserve, which is reflected in their comprehensive service offerings and patient-first approach. As a valued employer, CHOICE also prioritizes the wellbeing of its employees by promoting a healthy work-life balance, fostering professional and personal growth, and maintaining a positive workplace culture with supportive leadership and team-oriented events.

The role of Patient Coordinator in Orthodontics at CHOICE Healthcare Services is integral to providing seamless front office operations. Positioned as the first point of contact for patients and their families, the Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing appointment schedules, performing patient check-in and check-out processes, handling payments, and supporting various administrative tasks. This position requires a dynamic individual who can multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor that reflects the values of CHOICE. This role offers a pay range of $16.00 to $19.86 per hour, which is commensurate with experience, and invites candidates passionate about healthcare administration and pediatric dental care to join a thriving and supportive healthcare network.

In this role, the Patient Coordinator will engage directly with patients, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure an optimal experience from the moment a patient enters the office through their entire treatment journey. Responsibilities include managing incoming calls, scheduling both treatment and recall appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, and processing payments. The Patient Coordinator must also handle authorizations and coordinate patient follow-up communications, including the management of no-show reports and scheduling from the ASAP list to maintain an efficient patient flow. A critical aspect of this position is the ability to verify patient information accurately and maintain meticulous records through scanning and data entry in the healthcare system. The role demands regular and predictable attendance alongside strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.

Working at CHOICE Healthcare Services as a Patient Coordinator offers significant opportunities for career development within healthcare administration. The organization supports personal and professional growth through experienced leadership support, comprehensive benefits, and a fun, collaborative team atmosphere. Team members enjoy events and celebrations that cultivate a sense of community and belonging. Candidates who are bilingual, particularly in Spanish, will find this position advantageous due to the diverse communities served by CHOICE. Overall, this position is ideal for individuals dedicated to healthcare service excellence, eager to contribute to a meaningful cause, and motivated by a career in healthcare administration within a well-respected pediatric dental provider.
