Job Description

St. Luke's University Health Network is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical care, education, and community service. With a strong commitment to excellence, St. Luke's serves the needs of patients across multiple locations, including the Anderson Specialty Pavilion and 41 Corporate Drive. The network prides itself on the skills, experience, and compassion of its employees, recognizing them as the most valuable asset in fulfilling the organization's mission. St. Luke's is committed to improving access to healthcare, educating healthcare providers including physicians and nurses, and ensuring patients receive quality care regardless of their ability to pay.

The Patient Concierge role at St. Luke's University Health Network is an integral position focused on enhancing the patient experience through compassionate support and administrative assistance. Serving primarily at the Anderson Specialty Pavilion (70%) and secondarily at 41 Corporate Drive (30%), the Patient Concierge acts as a passionate patient advocate who creates a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centric environment. This coverage model supports operational continuity across both sites and aligns with locations experiencing procedural and provider growth.

As a Patient Concierge, the individual will engage patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all interactions, ensuring that administrative tasks such as check-in, check-out, pre-registration, eligibility verification, and payment collection are conducted seamlessly. The role demands hands-on support with technology such as kiosk check-in processes and emphasizes effective communication with both patients and internal teams, including coordination with Access Center Patient Engagement Partners and Clinical Triage Specialists.

The position requires maintaining a solution-oriented mindset to anticipate patient needs and deliver exceptional service consistently. The Patient Concierge also supports practice operations with opening and closing procedures, mail and delivery processing, cash management, and clerical message handling.
