Job Description
Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is a reputable and trusted dental care provider that has been serving communities across Texas since its founding in 1967. As a company dedicated to personalized dentistry, Jefferson emphasizes a patient-centered philosophy that goes beyond clinical excellence. The practice values each patient as a unique individual and strives to design tailored care plans to meet their specific oral health needs. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics prides itself on fostering an environment where patients feel both welcomed and cared for, aiming to put a smile on every face and effectively change lives through exceptional dental services. The organization has built a strong reputation as a caring and professional establishment focused on delivering five-star patient experiences. Jefferson's commitment to quality is evident not only in its clinical services but also in its approach to patient interaction, ensuring that trust and comfort remain paramount throughout every visit. The company operates multiple office locations with a passion for maintaining an approachable, friendly atmosphere that encourages open communication and trust between staff and patients. Furthermore, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics provides a supportive working environment for its employees, offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting their value in cultivating a positive team culture and employee satisfaction.
The Front Desk position, also referred to as the Patient Concierge role, is a vital part of Jefferson's commitment to exceptional patient care. Serving as the initial point of contact and the final friendly face patients see, Patient Concierges play a critical role in shaping the overall patient experience. This full-time role involves greeting patients with warmth, communicating openly and clearly to educate patients on their visits, and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise. Patient Concierges are responsible for processing essential patient paperwork, verifying insurance details, and managing appointment scheduling for new patients, recalls, and emergency visits. A key feature of this role is the cross-training in basic back-office tasks to support the clinic's operations and enhance the seamless delivery of service. Working within a collaborative team, candidates will thrive in an environment where dedication to service excellence and patient satisfaction is a priority. The position offers a salary range of $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, with varying work hours that include five days a week, alternating Saturdays, and mandatory Saturday shifts twice a month. Employee physical and environmental nuances such as standing, walking, manual dexterity, and vision are accommodated thoughtfully to support successful job performance. Overall, this role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare service, have strong communication skills, and are eager to contribute meaningfully to the positive, life-changing mission of Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics.
