As a leading healthcare provider in the region, Bronson is dedicated to fostering a compassionate, resilient, and positive work environment for its employees, commonly known as Team Bronson. The organization thrives on its guiding values of positivity and excellence, encouraging employees to go above and beyond for patients, colleagues, and the broader community. Bronson Healthcare Group offers a variety of career opportunities spanning clinical, administrative, and support roles to ensure a holistic healthcare experience.

The Patient Access Ambassador position at Bronson Healthcare Group plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience, especially through the implementation and support of self-service tablet check-in processes across various facilities. The Patient Access Ambassador is responsible for guiding and assisting patients through technology-driven check-in workflows, ensuring that every patient feels welcomed and supported. This role is customer-facing and requires a blend of interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, and a commitment to building positive relationships with patients and staff. Employees in this role must be approachable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about utilizing new technology to streamline patient access.

In addition to greeting and assisting patients, the ambassador supports various administrative functions such as registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and payment collection. They also provide financial information, price estimates, and help resolve payment issues while maintaining accuracy in registration workflows and billing processes. The role demands a detailed understanding of billing and coding standards, enabling ambassadors to contribute positively to the organization’s revenue cycle.

Patient Access Ambassadors must be adaptive to change, able to train and educate staff on tablet technology and workflows, and act as subject matter experts within the organization. They handle escalations by facilitating resolutions and communicating incidents to leadership. Daily responsibilities include monitoring check-in kiosks, assisting patients with varying needs such as visual or mobility impairments, guiding them through check-in processes, and ensuring tablets are clean and operational. Ambassadors also ensure signage is clear, submit IT tickets for equipment malfunctions, and identify opportunities to improve patient flow through collaboration with leadership. The position requires standing or walking for extended periods and demands excellent computer skills and customer service abilities.

This part-time position offers a 25-hour scheduled workweek, primarily during the first shift. The role is instrumental in supporting Bronson's commitment to innovation in patient access and experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others, engaging with technology, and working in a dynamic healthcare setting. Bronson Healthcare Group values diversity, continuous learning, and a supportive workplace culture, encouraging candidates ready to contribute positively to join Team Bronson and make a meaningful impact on patient care and operational excellence.
