Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a pastry chef or sous chef role
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks safely
- Willingness to comply with company policies and regulatory standards

Job Duties
- Support daily pastry operations by assisting with preparation, execution, and presentation of pastries and desserts while ensuring quality and efficiency
- Produce high-quality pastries such as breads, rolls, breakfast pastries, and desserts following designated recipes and quality standards
- Manage product inventory by ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients, maintaining supply levels, and assisting with daily requisitions
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by keeping all work areas clean, tidy, and free of cross-contamination
- Guide and mentor team members by providing hands-on training and support to junior pastry staff and apprentices, reinforcing proper techniques and procedures
- Comply with regulatory standards by maintaining compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
