Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of prior culinary supervisory experience in a hospitality environment preferred
  • Fluent in communicating (speaking, reading, and writing) in English

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale or fine-dining setting
  • Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, and dessert preparation
  • Creative flair with a keen eye for detail and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop and execute an exceptional pastry program
  • Assist in managing day-to-day pastry operations, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Supervise and mentor pastry team members to foster growth and maintain standards
  • Contribute to seasonal menu development and innovative dessert concepts
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control for the pastry department
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
