Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in pastry or baking in a high-volume restaurant or bakery
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working solo or collaboratively with a small team
- Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks and working in a hot kitchen environment
- Adaptable and able to stay focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting
- Flexible schedule availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Food handler's certificate or ability to obtain
- Completion of in-house prep training provided upon hire
- Prior prep or line cook experience in a high-volume culinary operation preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries and baked goods following company recipes and standards
- Execute large-volume production efficiently and with attention to quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following food safety and sanitation protocols
- Work independently or as part of a small team to meet production goals
- Follow prep lists and production schedules set by management
