Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and safety guidelines
- Certification in food safety required or willingness to obtain
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms as required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking or related field
- Proven understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
- Certification or ability to obtain certification in food safety
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement and counting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical capability to handle job demands
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately
- Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Employ kitchen tools like knives safely during food preparation
- Implement proper storage practices as per food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after use
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and food safety and sanitation practices
- Maintain security of company assets by following safety measures
