Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year pastry experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen
- Maricopa County Food Handler Card
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain professionalism and teamwork in a hospitality setting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an apprenticeship or accredited culinary school, preferred
- At least one year pastry experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen
- Hotel or resort experience, preferred
- Upscale or luxury dining experience, preferred
- Maricopa County Food Handler Card
- ServeSafe Food Handler Certification, preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare items listed on production sheet
- Date and label all items going into freezer and walk-in, clean as you go
- Store all items in approved containers that are wrapped, dated and labeled, follow food handler's guidelines
- Rotate oldest stock out first, check with chef if freshness is questionable
- Clean all small equipment such as mixers, buffalo choppers, etc., immediately after using them
- Practice and abide by all resort rules and regulations, safety and sanitation policies at all times
- Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance, wear proper uniform and footwear at all times
