Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year pastry experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and teamwork in a hospitality setting

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an apprenticeship or accredited culinary school, preferred
  • At least one year pastry experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen
  • Hotel or resort experience, preferred
  • Upscale or luxury dining experience, preferred
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification, preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare items listed on production sheet
  • Date and label all items going into freezer and walk-in, clean as you go
  • Store all items in approved containers that are wrapped, dated and labeled, follow food handler's guidelines
  • Rotate oldest stock out first, check with chef if freshness is questionable
  • Clean all small equipment such as mixers, buffalo choppers, etc., immediately after using them
  • Practice and abide by all resort rules and regulations, safety and sanitation policies at all times
  • Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance, wear proper uniform and footwear at all times
