Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to arrive on time and when scheduled
  • excellent communication skills
  • flexibility concerning scheduling needs and requirements
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • experience in food preparation or baking preferred
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • flexibility concerning scheduling needs and requirements
  • ability to arrive on time and when scheduled
  • preferred additional language ability

Job Duties

  • Prepare food of consistent quality following Flik recipe cards
  • date all food containers and rotate per standard operating procedures
  • practice safety standards at all times
  • bake/prepare orders as requested including special requests
  • start food items prepared ahead of time without preparing over estimated needs
  • practice sanitation standards and ensure perishables are kept at proper temperatures
  • properly portion all items on assigned station
  • control food waste, loss and usage per SOP
  • assist in setting up plans and actions to correct food cost problems
  • check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up
  • note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
  • assist in keeping buffet stocked
  • assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments for next shift
  • return unused food items to designated storage areas properly covered and dated
  • carry out all reasonable requests by management within capabilities
