As a Baker at Aramark, you will be an essential member of the Food Services Team, contributing your skills to bring delicious creations to life. Your responsibilities will include following mouth-watering recipes and working with top-of-the-line baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and stoves. You’ll prepare ingredients with precision by measuring, weighing, mixing, and chopping to ensure every product meets standard quality guidelines. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a bakery or food preparation environment preferred
ability to follow detailed baking recipes and safety guidelines
capable of standing, lifting, bending, and performing physical tasks as required
willing to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as needed
must obtain food safety certification(s) as required
strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety
good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
required to obtain food safety certification(s)
demonstrates basic math and counting skills
demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties

Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
ensures security of company assets
