Job Duties
- wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables and fruits
- use a commercial food processor to puree both raw and prepared foods
- operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges
- lift, handle, weigh, and portion pastry items accurately
- use a commercial mixer to prepare batters and dough
- label, date, and store prepped product
- clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors
- make a daily inventory of product and write a prep list if needed
