The role of a Pastry Cook at Zuma is a vital position within our dynamic kitchen team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods that not only delight our guests but also uphold the high standards for which Zuma is celebrated. Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the broader culinary team, you will contribute to creating the exceptional desserts that complement Zuma's innovative Japanese menu. This position demands precision, creativity, and passion for the art of pastry-making.

In this role, you will assist in the preparation and production of diverse pastry creations by following established recipes and guidelines. Your tasks will include executing precise measurements, techniques, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality in every item you produce. You will prepare and assemble components for plated desserts, including sauces, creams, garnishes, and accompaniments, as well as bake, decorate, and finish pastries with a keen eye for detail.
The role requires someone who is passionate about culinary experiences and has a special affinity for Japanese cuisine. You should be a natural team player who thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment, capable of working seamlessly with a diverse team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
