Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as a pastry cook
  • Experience in cake decorating
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of pastry cook experience, including cake decorating
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to listen to and follow directions from supervisors, staff and guests
  • Physical ability to stand for up to eight hours, lift up to 75 pounds and use small tools with finger dexterity
  • Reliable, adaptable, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Produce desserts and pastry items according to the restaurant and ballroom menu
  • Assist the Pastry Chef in planning and executing pastry programs
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Adhere to the schedule and shift requirements, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
