Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a pastry cook position
  • Ability to work full time including weekends and holidays
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Food handler’s certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a pastry cook or similar role
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of baking techniques and pastry arts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts
  • Ensure all baked goods meet company quality standards
  • Collaborate with culinary team members to develop new pastry recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in plating and presentation of pastries for events
